Industrial Generator Repair
Power mechanics worked on a 700kva power plant for a hospital in the south of johannesburg. The unit was not running and leaking fluids.

Not starting, leaking:Generator needed new fuel piping, gaskets and a repair on its exhaust
Diagnosis
Tested engine for physical problems but only found oil and fuel leaks as major issues, could not start with faulty solenoid.
Repair carried out
Fitted genuine replacement parts to stop all leaks, exhaust went for repairs by welding team, changed all oil, all filters.
Final testing
it was fixed well and all tests went well. it managed to power the whole facility without issues after repair
